Extreme conversion of the new Countryman by delta4x4 and X-raid

Together with the renowned X-raid rally team, delta4x4 has transformed the new MINI Countryman into an uncompromising off-road vehicle. The aim of this innovative project is to combine the off-road expertise of both partners in a road-legal vehicle – inspired by the legendary Dakar Rally and developed for adventures on any terrain.

Technical basis with motorsport expertise

The vehicle has a specially developed rally chassis, which allows it to be lifted by around 50 millimetres. The entire body has been widened by around 10 millimetres on each side, which not only emphasises the impressive appearance, but also creates space for the wide off-road tyres. Optimum traction is ensured by 18×9-inch delta4x4 Hanma rims in combination with 255/55 R18 Loder AT #1 tyres – a setup that impresses both on loose surfaces and on the road.

Equipment for off-road use

The roof platform offers sufficient space for extensive off-road accessories: sand plates, spare wheel, shovel, fuel canister and sturdy transport boxes can be securely fastened and are always ready to hand. A robust 76 mm diameter front bar and powerful PIAA racing headlights on the front and roof rack ensure increased safety – especially when travelling off-road.

Visual highlight: X-raid design and Dakar charm

The vehicle bears the distinctive signature of X-raid. The “X” lettering on the side and the colour scheme in matt black with orange accents and functional bodywork refer to the Dakar origins and give the vehicle an unmistakable look.

delta4x4 has specialised in exclusive off-road conversions for over four decades and regularly realises projects for OEMs, private customers and expeditions. With X-raid as a partner, one of the leading teams in long-distance off-road rallying, a vehicle was created that masterfully combines the balancing act between suitability for everyday use and a thirst for adventure.

This vehicle is currently a concept. If there is sufficient demand, limited small series production by delta4x4 is possible.
