Genesis and delta form innovative partnership for GV70 Project Overland
Munich, 23.11.2023 – Genesis, the renowned luxury brand of Hyundai Motor Group, has joined forces with off-road specialist Delta Off-Road Sports to usher in a new era in the overland segment. This groundbreaking collaboration culminates in their first joint project: the Genesis GV70 Project Overland.
The GV70 Project Overland is the result of the fusion of Genesis’ unparalleled luxury design and delta’s over 40 years of experience in developing off-road concepts. The vehicle has been raised and widened by an impressive 50mm to present an even more robust presence on both road and off-road.
The characteristic 18-inch Classic B Rugged wheels, equipped with Continental ATR tires, not only give the GV70 Project Overland an impressive aesthetic, but also ensure excellent performance in various conditions. To further enhance off-road capabilities, additional PIAA lights integrated into the roof, as well as Baja Style lights in the grille, provide impressive illumination.
For adventurers who need to carry essential gear, the GV70 Project Overland offers a specially designed roof rack. This allows for the secure attachment of vital equipment and emphasizes the practical approach of this unique vehicle.

February 2024 update, Finland:
Winter High Performance Event 2024
From January 22 to 25, 2024, Continental invited its tuning partners to Lapland. With icy temperatures, snow, ice and squalls, the most adverse conditions were created. Perfect for extreme testing. The focus is on the winter grip of a wide range of tyres, tyre sizes and drive concepts.
Included… of the Genesis GV70 Overland in delta version. After their own tests in a typical Central European climate zone, professional riders now made their Continental tracks in the Lappish snow.
A wide test track, a demanding handling course and a challenging slalom course provided optimal conditions for comprehensive performance tests of the Continental WinterContact™ TS 870 P.
We don’t have the results yet, but the GV70 came back safe and sound and passed this test with flying colors.
