Ford Kuga
The latecomer from Ford cleans up the overpopulated SUV field from behind, says all-wheel drive specialist delta4x4. Ford Europa is moving on new territory with the Kuga – one on which delta4x4 has been moving with passion for almost 30 years.
This is why the southern German off-road refiner interprets the name “Kuga” as an abbreviation for “cool pace” and honors Ford’s stylish off-roader as the first accessory supplier with more off-road power and perfectly fitting design styling kits.
Away from the streets, the delta4x4 Kuga moves stylishly, thanks to 55 millimeters more ground clearance, consisting of a sporty lift kit (+30 mm) and a complete wheel set “SINS black” 8×18 with 235 / 60R18 Pirelli Scorpion A / T tires. So that the engine, gearbox, exhaust system and tank are well protected on extreme off-road tours, delta4x4 offers a three-part underrun protection with a high-quality, 5 mm thick aluminum alloy. In addition, flank brackets (76mm) and a double pipe exhaust system made of hand-polished stainless steel are offered. The delta4x4 performance increase to 119kW and 380Nm (series 100kW and 320Nm) delivers more breath for complex mountain tours. In order for the Kuga driver not to lose sight even in the heaviest of dust, delta4x4 recommends the auxiliary headlights from rally outfitter PIAA.
Together with “Rome Snowboard Design Syndicate”, a young, up-and-coming sports company from New York, delta4x4 developed an attractive and unusual protective sticker for all trendy and sports-loving Kuga riders.
The range of footwear for both versions ranges from 17 to 22 inches, designer rims with and without stainless steel drop center (delta4x4-Lander, delta4x4-Sins, delta4x4-IRA) to the monoblock rim delta4x4 “Romm” from the Japanese manufacturer Kosei, specially designed for high wheel loads.
In addition, wheel arch extensions, an elegant personal protection bar in 76mm according to the principles of the EC regulations for pedestrian protection, performance increase with 40 hp and a high-performance brake system with 4-piston caliper are offered.
