Unterumbach, June 1, 2026 – What began as the ultimate endurance test in the Saudi Arabian desert is now making its way onto the road. At this year’s Dakar Classic, the Loder brothers, Max and Laurence, placed their full trust in the performance of their own tire profile. Both the race car—a rugged Puch—and the support and camera vehicle, a latest-generation VW Amarok, were equipped with the Loder AT #1.

Data on thermal stress and mechanical durability gathered during the rally was directly incorporated into the mass production of the new sizes, which were developed specifically for the heavy-duty segment and modern all-wheel-drive vans:
1. The specialist for camper vans: 225/75 R16 118/116T
This product fills a real gap in the market for standard tires on models such as the Fiat Ducato or Mercedes Sprinter.

- Comfort: A low-noise all-terrain tread pattern that combines an off-road look with a smooth ride.
2. The powerhouse for 4×4 vans and pickups: 265/60 R18 121/119T
Designed specifically for heavy-duty off-road vehicles and the Mercedes Sprinter with all-wheel drive, this tire sets new standards in its class.
- Maximum load capacity: Thanks to innovative 12-ply technology, the tire offers an impressive load capacity of 1,450 kg.
- Dakar-tested: The stability that the camera car needed to follow the rally stages is now available to any driver who pushes their vehicle to the limit.
