delta4x4 supports the volunteer rescue work of the Johanniter

They are mostly out on call at night, often in forests and rough terrain: the rescue dog teams of the Johanniter. They search for missing people and give first aid until the emergency services arrive. delta4x4 is now supporting the Johanniter teams with off-road wheels and vehicle accessories worth 4,000 euros.

After many years of saving and fundraising, the volunteers were able to replace their ageing response vehicle in 2020 with a custom-built equipment van. It serves as a transport vehicle for up to five rescue dogs and emergency crew, as an incident command vehicle and as a tow vehicle for a rescue dog trailer. On the first missions with the all-wheel-drive vehicle it quickly became clear that the standard tyres are not ideal for unpaved ground and the standard lighting is rather weak for the frequent night missions.

The off-road specialist delta4x4 is now lending the helpers a hand, fitting the response vehicle with high-traction tyres, robust wheels and a lamp carrier for additional headlights. Material and labour worth 2,500 euros are donated by delta4x4 to the Johanniter.
