The new off-road tire for motorhomes and SUVs by Loder Tires comes in size 235/560R17 118S.
Since 2018, the company delta4x4 has been carrying the label “Loder AT#1 is delta4x4,” possibly the smallest tire manufacturer in the world.
Delta4x4 has been a specialist in off-road vehicles and motorhomes since 1980. The company’s focus lies in the development of body lift kits, forged and low-pressure manufactured rims, and since 2018, also in tires for off-road vehicles, SUVs, and caravans. The naming of the tire pays tribute to delta’s company history.
The name “Loder” dates back to a 125-year-old family business for vehicle technology, the company Loder Motore, founded in 1899. AutoLoder1899, like delta4x4, is family-owned by the Loder family.
Since 2018, the dimension 305/60R18 (33×12.50R18) has been available, specifically designed for lifted pickups. The new tire, the Loder AT#1 in size 235/60R17, was designed, much like the 255/55R18 tire, for SUVs and motorhomes.
It has a Load Index of 118 (load capacity of 1,320 kg) and bears the speed rating S (up to 180 km/h). Additionally, it is marked with the snowflake symbol “Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake,” indicating its status as a full-fledged winter tire according to European guidelines. Its values on the EU tire label are: Rolling Resistance “C,” Wet Grip “C,” and Noise Emission 73 dB.
The Loder AT #1 was specifically designed in Germany to meet European on- and off-road requirements and is produced in China by a renowned tire manufacturer, with whom delta has been collaborating successfully for many years.
