In February 2008, accessory specialist delta4x4 was one of the first to present a tough off-road version and an exclusive on-road version. OFF ROAD magazine was enthusiastic and, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, developed a real off-road climber together with delta4x4.
The crowd favorite gains 50 millimeters of ground clearance thanks to the delta4x4 conversion kit, consisting of a sporty lift kit (+30 mm) and a complete set of wheels “SINS” 8×18 painted in “OFF ROAD red” with 235 / 60R18 Pirelli Scorpion A / T tires . So that the engine, gearbox, exhaust system and tank are well protected on extreme off-road tours, delta4x4 offers a three-part underrun protection with a high-quality, 5 mm thick aluminum alloy. There is also the radiator grille in the same color as the car, including a border and a decorative strip in “OFF ROAD red”.
The OFF ROAD magazine raffled off an off-road vehicle kit for the Tiguan or a kit from the delta4x4 range for another off-roader in the issue of May 13, 2008.
