Delta4x4: The first step is to raise the bike, front bars and new wheels
The Mercedes G model is an icon among off-road vehicles. And as is usual with such automotive legends, technical innovations are watched with eagle eyes by the fans. The G-Class, which was refreshed last year, is a completely new design and thus represents the first radical revision after 39 years of moderate evolution.
But he has remained the old terrain master – despite the front independent wheel suspension instead of the previous rigid axle. The “Welt” gave the all-clear in its online edition and, after getting to know each other for the first time, found that the “G-Class off-road was still beyond any doubt. … There is probably no more robust vehicle on this side of a tank ”(Heiko Zwicker, Die Welt, Berlin). It’s logical that delta4x4, in its role as off-road vehicle tuning specialist, also takes on the new G-Class. The off-road specialists based in the south of Germany have already homologated various accessory wheels in sizes from 18 to 23 inches for a wide variety of requirements. And in order to make the new G even more off-road, protected and attractive, delta4x4 is already working on various other modifications. For example, Delta4x4 already has lifts of 30 and 50 mm for the “off-road vehicle of the pole position”, a wheel arch extension of 80 mm to accommodate the tires up to 305 / 40R23, and a front bar that is built according to EC pedestrian protection guidelines. This will be an exciting phase, the first steps towards the major G conversion have already been taken.
