delta4x4 Explorer Tour 2025: Romania

The Explorer Tour 2025 takes you to the land of vampires. But don’t worry, after wild and romantic off-road tours, the best accommodation and the finest food await you. The only thing bloody here is the steak. We will round off the evening with a glass of red wine in selected restaurants and socialise with like-minded people.

We have already scouted great routes and can hardly wait to show you Romania from its wildest side. The Carpathian Mountains are rough and demand a lot from man and machine. But after a few explorer tours, we know that we can do anything as a team!

We guarantee: an experience of a special kind.

Tour scedule

Our meeting point is on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, in the Carpathians for dinner together.
You will receive the exact hotel address in the week before the start of the tour.

All-day tours are on the programme for the following three days – a combination of varied off-road passages and scenic connecting routes.

The tour ends on Sunday, 14 September 2025, with individual departure.

As in previous years, we only reveal hotels, routes and stage locations on site – so every stage remains an unadulterated adventure.
Your physical well-being is well catered for: packed lunches at lunchtime and culinary highlights in comfortable accommodation in the evening.

To participate in the tour, the following vehicle requirements must be met:

All-wheel drive vehicle with at least AT tires
Vehicle max. length 6 m
Ground clearance min. 23cm
Vehicles with air suspensions are excluded from participation
Proven off-road experience or previous off-road training as the routes are sometimes very demanding
there will definitely be scratches in the paint – we don’t cover any damage!
Minimum age 18 years

During the tour, we explore Romania’s unique flora and fauna along official roads and paths. The landscape offers a diverse and impressive nature. There will be many meters of altitude, many hairpin bends to master and in return you will come to a place off the beaten track with views that you will never forget.

Please note that the organizer is not responsible for the disregard of local traffic rules and possible damage to the vehicle. We recommend you to respect the traffic rules and treat the environment with care in order to preserve the nature and its peculiarities.
