Land Rover Defender
In the unanimous opinion of its large fan base, the natural beauty of the Land Rover Defender cannot be improved by accessories. Chrome or high-gloss polished stainless steel parts are completely out of place with this classic.
That is why delta4x4 is now equipping the Defender with simple rims in an 18-inch beadlock design. The rims are in a covered black matt and have an additional approach ring that protects the rims and tires from lateral damage. Thanks to the optimized construction and the simplicity of the design, the rim is light at 13 kg despite the high wheel load of 1,100 kg. The approach ring can be replaced for a few euros if damaged.
The tires used by delta for the Defender come from Mickey Thompson – the tire manufacturer who has focused on developing the best off-road tires in the world for over 30 years.
Mickey Thompson offers the multiple award-winning rubbers, which were recently recognized as the best tires of their kind by “4Wheel & Off-Road”, America’s largest off-road newspaper (ATZ), in the ATZ and MTZ tread types. The ATZ is characterized by its grip in the field with very good driving characteristics on the road (ratio of road to terrain 50/50). The focus of the MTZ is clearly the terrain, although it is very comfortable to drive on the road (ratio of road to terrain 25/75). Both tires have the M + S marking and are therefore also approved for winter operation.
The set of complete wheels (four rims with four tires) with the aluminum rims delta-beadlock in size 9×18 including AT tires are available for the Defender from € 2,971. The same complete wheels, also in black matt, but without a beadlock ring, are available from € 2,722.
