Bell Aurens: Rebirth of a Legend
It is a great honor for delta4x4 to be part of this incredible project. Imagine crossing a Land Rover Series I and a pre-war Bentley. Season this mixture with a portion of infinite devotion and a breeze of absolute attention to detail – and the result is the Bell Aurens Longnose.
The idea
Some inspirations develop into fascinating ideas on further reflection. Really good ideas become a vision that you can no longer avoid. They demand realization with the irresistible consistency of a baby on the way to birth.
The Bell Aurens Longnose is just such an idea. From the first thought to first sketches and 3-D studies, the desire for realization could no longer be ignored after a very short time. On the contrary, the birth of the first prototype was only a matter of time and possibilities.
Anyone who has ever driven a series Land Rover with the windshield down on dirt roads or through the city will understand the fascination emanating from the idea of a crossover between a classic British roadster and a thoroughbred off-roader. Both vehicle types are combined in the Bell Aurens Longnose in such a congenial way
Wise that the name offroadster for this new type of automobile imposes itself.
At the front, either 8 or 12 cylinders provide propulsion to the limits of physical possibilities. Far back, at the end of a seemingly never-ending bonnet, the Bell Aurens comes up with a passenger cell which, through the combination of classy, elegant materials and minimalist equipment, over meets the highest demands for a real driver experience. The traditional leaf spring chassis reports the road condition bluntly and without lazy compromises to the driver’s spine. The exhaust manifolds, which are visibly guided in the area of the front fenders, create a robust look that anticipates the corresponding acoustic presence of the Longnose.
The knowledge of the unsurpassed off-road qualities of a real Land Rover with all-wheel drive, terrain reduction and center differential lock invite you to extensive tours, even through difficult terrain. Or the storm through the desert sand to Aqaba.
The vehicle is expected to be presented in autumn this year. The right footwear comes from delta4x4 in the form of the MT Classic II.
