VW Amarok “The Beast”
Amarok is the name of a giant wolf from Eskimo mythology. It is said to hunt and eat anyone who is foolish enough to hunt alone at night. Unlike the real wolves who hunt in packs, he prefers to hunt alone (source Wikipedia).
The Amarok from delta is a huge conversion and mutates the good pick-up into a monster 2.25 meters tall. Despite its gigantic dimensions, the vehicle is still suitable for everyday driving – it only takes a little sportiness to get into the cockpit of the giant.
In the terrain, the Big Foot impresses after the conversion with a ground clearance of over 300mm and a slope angle of 36 degrees (series 28 degrees).
The conversion to a “delta beast” begins with the lift by 100mm which costs 1,700 € (assembly approx. 2,400 €), large wheels with off-road tires are available from 2,500 €. Road-legal personal protection bars and roll bars in subtle black cost € 570 and € 590 respectively. For the wheel arch extensions you have to reckon with 1,800 €.
