In the past 30 years since delta4x4 has been active in the off-road sector, the market has changed fundamentally. In the beginning, off-road vehicle drivers were a marginal phenomenon with hardly any market potential. Then the 1997 launch of the Mercedes ML sparked an unprecedented boom, and suddenly it was chic to drive an SUV around town.
More years passed, many large, fast and exorbitantly expensive vehicles followed and now off-road drivers are considered polluters. Well, with a market share of two percent, Germany’s cows on the green pastures are proven to be more polluters than off-road drivers – but so be it. It is a beautiful topic that helps some unknown politicians to 15 minutes of fame.
In any case, delta4x4 continues undeterred with one of the most beautiful minor things in the world – and all too often it’s a lot of fun.
