What makes the delta4x4 Explorer Tour so attractive?

A motley bunch meets in the evening at Hotel Navis near Rijeka to have a good time off the roads for the next few days. This is already the second delta Explorer tour. After a short briefing and the distribution of the radios and goody bags, you get to know each other over a four-course meal in the hotel restaurant with a magnificent view of the Adrian Sea.
FIRST DAY OF TRAVEL
The next morning, the group sets off early along the coast to Novi Vinodolski, where it’s off-road right away. delta has deliberately chosen easier routes for the first day so that newcomers can get used to riding off the asphalt. Accompanied musically by Martin Böttcher’s familiar Winnetou melody from the radios, the tour continues on dirt roads high above the coast through exciting nature, past wild horses, goats and windmills. After a short stop in Zengg and a delicious lunch, the group sets off over hill and dale towards Zadar. This first day of the tour is crowned by an overwhelmingly beautiful sunset.
IT’S GETTING TOUGHER
On the second day, everyone meets relaxed at 9:30 a.m. for a short briefing before taking to the terrain around Mount Badanj under the wheels. This time the driving is much harder, after all it is an explorer tour and you are not here just for fun. After about 150km of on- and off-road riding, the group returns to the hotel late in the afternoon, exhausted but at the same time full of the experience, where everyone can relax according to their own taste in the spa or by swimming in the sea. After all, you want to start the next day rested.
END OF TERRAIN
The last day is real hardcore offroading. The route leads again to the mountain Badanj and then on a demanding path through a dense forest. Afterwards – as it should be for such a tour – the color of many a vehicle is no longer recognizable because of the dirt.
Happy and satisfied, the participants meet around 2 pm to say goodbye. Strangers have become friends in these few days, who part from each other almost a bit wistfully – with mutual promises to meet again next year at the delta4x4 Explorer Tour.
YEARLY HIGHLIGHT
The tour organized by delta4x4 is becoming increasingly popular, because it offers the ideal mix of adventure feeling and relaxation, introduces newcomers to off-roading gently at first, but then also confronts them with a reasonable amount of driving challenges. In addition, culinary delights, the best accommodation and, last but not least, the relaxed get-together every evening will entice you. Everyone gets their money’s worth at this event. Now it’s time to wait another twelve months. But the preparations for the next delta Explorer Tour are already underway. It will be held on 12/10 to 15/10/2023. We are looking forward to it.
